Well, this is turning out to be offspring of musical genius's week at the LGA, but I must relay this bit of info I received from VSL today. Duncan Jones (son of David Bowie, AKA Zowie Bowie) made a science fiction movie called MOON.
The plot is centered around a lone astronaut, played by the eponymous Sam Rockwell (anybody see him in Snow Angels or the film version of Chuck Palahniuk's Choke? -- dude channels a very convincing psychotic) who lives in Space in a ship operated by a "computerized" persona, played by Kevin Spacey (Think 2001: A Space Odyssey's HAL sinister.)
That's the short version. Watch the trailer above for the full amazingness. It gets better and more original than that. (Photo above courtesy of Bloody Disgusting Horror News)
This flick, opening 6/12, and Telstar (also opening in June) is helping this-coming Summer shape up quite nicely for the sci-fi freak out world- yay!
